High West A Midwinter Night's Dram Limited Engagement Act 13 is the 2025 edition of High West's Port-finished winter rye, the Park City, Utah distillery's most anticipated annual release. Act 13 blends two straight ryes aged four to ten years, MGP's 95% rye and 5% malted barley alongside High West's own pot-still rye of 80% rye and 20% malted rye, and finishes the blend in Port barrels and French oak before bottling at 98.6 proof.Bourbon & Banter found crushed blackberries, mandarin zest and almond shortbread on the nose with clear Port influence, marionberry preserves and chocolate-dripped cherries on the palate, and a velvety, spiced finish of chai foam and clove-studded orange, concluding there is zero wrong with this whiskey and that fruit, spice and light tannin all get equal billing. High West's notes add caramel, vanilla, dried plum, cinnamon, brown sugar, nutmeg and a whisper of tobacco leaf. Like every Act, it is a limited engagement that disappears well before spring.Buy High West A Midwinter Night's Dram Limited Engagement Act 13 online with fast shipping right to your door.
