Electronic Accessories ｜Grado Hemp Classic Series Headphones

From Limited Release to Lasting ClassicOriginally introduced in 2020 as a limited edition, the Hemp began as an experiment in materials and tone. What started as a playful exploration quickly developed a following among listeners who appreciated its weight, warmth, and rhythmic drive.
The response secured the Hemp’s place as a permanent model within the lineup.
44mm X2 Dynamic DriverThe Hemp uses Grado’s 44mm X2 dynamic driver built around a Mylar diaphragm, copper voice coil, and rare earth magnetic system.
The tuning favors a fuller and more grounded presentation.
Signature Silver Headband AssemblyThe Hemp incorporates Grado’s Signature Silver headband assembly sharing the same engineering foundation as the Signature Gold system.
A leather headstrap with contrasting white stitching provides comfort while the internal steel spring band allows listeners to easily adjust clamping pressure.
Signature Silver CableThe Hemp incorporates Grado’s Signature Silver headband assembly sharing the same engineering foundation as the Signature Gold system.

F CushionsThe Hemp ships standard with Grado F cushions, bringing the driver closer to the ear and reinforcing its immediate and engaging presentation.
Like all Grado cushions, they also act as a tuning element, allowing listeners to personalize their headphones by experimenting with different cushion styles to subtly adjust tonal balance and presentation.
Bi-Wood Housing — Hemp & MapleThe Hemp features a bi-wood housing constructed from hempwood and maple.
Hempwood contributes natural damping and tonal warmth helping shape a presentation that feels grounded and physical while maple provides structural stability at the driver interface.
Beyond its acoustic qualities hempwood also reflects a more sustainable approach to material sourcing as hemp fibers can be cultivated and replenished far more rapidly than traditional hardwoods.
