TAMIYA — TS LACQUER SPRAY
TS-79 Semi Gloss Clear
TS-79100ML AEROSOLSEMI-GLOSS CLEAR

// OVERVIEW //

ITEM 85079

A clear coat that lands between gloss and flat — the sheen most modellers actually want on a finished car or aircraft, because full gloss exaggerates every surface flaw and flat kills the colour underneath.
Tamiya TS is a synthetic lacquer that cures fast and lays down glass-smooth on hard plastic. One 100ml can covers two to three 1/24 scale car bodies. Because TS lacquer is unaffected by acrylics and enamels, you can lay a base coat and then pick out detail on top in either — which is the whole reason modellers build a process around it.
Not for polycarbonate. TS lacquer will flake off clear Lexan R/C body shells. Use the Tamiya PS range for those.
